I took the Professional Certificate in British Design for Accessibility and Inclusion at Stanmore School of Business to improve my skills as an accessibility consultant in Brazil. The course was really helpful in giving me a better understanding of the British Standards for accessibility and how they compare to our own standards in Brazil. I liked that the course was pretty flexible and allowed me to work at my own pace. The discussions with other students were also super helpful - we shared our own experiences and learned from each other. One thing that I found really useful was the section on accessible design for public spaces, which I hadn't considered before. Overall, I'm happy with the course, but I think it could be improved with more interactive elements and more feedback from instructors.
