Completed from United Kingdom
The Master Certificate in Graduate Certificate in Design and Analysis of Tall Buildings (part II) exceeded my expectations. The curriculum was perfectly aligned with my goal of mastering wind‑load assessment for skyscrapers. I particularly valued the hands‑on module on dynamic analysis using SAP2000 – it allowed me to complete a full‑scale case study of a 60‑storey tower within the semester. The lecture notes were concise yet comprehensive, and the reference library included up‑to‑date standards from the UK and Europe. Overall, the learning experience was professional and well‑structured, and I feel fully equipped to lead tall‑building projects at my firm.
I loved the vibe of this course – it was super practical and got straight to the point. I wanted to learn how to use BIM for tall‑building design, and the weekly labs on Revit and Dynamo gave me exactly that. One cool thing was the group project where we modeled a 45‑storey mixed‑use tower and ran wind‑load simulations in ETABS. The course materials were clear, with lots of video tutorials that made the complex theory easy to digest. I’m really happy with what I took away and feel ready to apply these skills on real projects back home.
I enrolled in this program to bridge the gap between my architectural background and structural engineering, and it delivered exactly that. The sessions on façade‑integrated wind‑load mitigation were eye‑opening, and the practical assignments using Rhino‑Grasshopper helped me develop parametric design skills I could immediately use in my current projects. The course material was up‑to‑date, with case studies from recent Indian tall‑building projects, which made the content highly relevant. Overall, the experience was enriching and gave me confidence to take on taller structures in my career.
