The Master Certificate in Culinary Medicine for Heart Health at Stanmore School of Business was a game-changer for me. As a healthcare professional, I was looking for a course that could bridge the gap between nutrition and medicine, and this program exceeded my expectations. The modules on heart-healthy cooking techniques and the science behind dietary choices were incredibly informative. I particularly appreciated the case studies on reducing cholesterol through diet—I’ve already implemented some of the recipes in my own life and shared them with patients. The course materials were well-researched and easy to follow, and the instructors were responsive and knowledgeable. Highly recommend it to anyone in the medical or culinary field!
I took this course to better understand how to manage heart health through diet, especially since heart disease runs in my family. The content was thorough and practical—I learned so much about the role of fats, fiber, and antioxidants in heart health. The practical cooking sessions were my favorite; I now know how to make heart-friendly versions of dishes I love, like dal and roti, without compromising on taste. The course materials were downloadable, which made it easy to revisit lessons. The only reason I’m not giving it a 5 is because the discussion forums could use more activity from instructors. Still, a fantastic course overall!
Wow, just wow! This course was exactly what I needed to elevate my culinary skills while focusing on heart health. As a chef in Italy, I thought I knew a thing or two about healthy cooking, but this program taught me so much more. The focus on Mediterranean diets and how to incorporate them into restaurant menus was invaluable. I’ve already started tweaking my recipes to include more olive oil, whole grains, and leafy greens, and my customers have noticed the difference. The video lectures were engaging, and the quizzes helped reinforce what I learned. Stanmore School of Business has done an outstanding job with this course!
I enrolled in this course to gain a deeper understanding of how food impacts heart health, especially in the context of African diets. The course content was very relevant—I learned about local ingredients like amaranth and moringa and how they can be used to create heart-healthy meals. The module on sodium reduction was particularly eye-opening, as it’s a common issue in Kenyan cuisine. The course materials were well-organized, and the self-paced format worked perfectly for my schedule. My only suggestion would be to include more case studies from African countries. All in all, a very satisfying learning experience!
